Hi, I’m Karol Rodriguez
I’m a writer, educator, and lifelong storyteller with a soft spot for magical creatures, cozy mysteries, and the everyday courage of kids.
For more than a decade, I worked with children and families in international schools, ESL classrooms, and creative programs. Those years taught me a simple truth: young readers are capable of incredible imagination when we give them worlds worth exploring. Today, I write stories that spark curiosity, build confidence, and make reading feel like an adventure.
My work includes picture books, middle grade fantasy, creative resources for families, and fun reads for fans of all ages. Whether it’s a magical coquí finding his voice, a determined soccer hero, or a K-pop demon hunter navigating mayhem and music, I love building stories that mix heart, humor, and a little bit of chaos.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and later spent several years living in China before settling in South Florida with my family. That journey shaped my storytelling more than anything else. It taught me to see the world with openness, gratitude, and the belief that stories can connect us across cultures, languages, and ages.
Beyond writing, I also create educational tools, printables, and creative resources for parents and teachers. I enjoy helping families and educators find simple ways to encourage reading, creativity, and calm in everyday life.
